About Me
I (Rachel Magliari) obtained a Master’s of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-7588) in the State of Idaho and certified as a National Board Certified Counselor. Additionally, I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-11617) in the State of Idaho. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. I receive supervision from Jim Grigg LCPC-407 at Real Solutions Counseling.
Treatment Modalities: Solution Focused, Strength Based, Trauma Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral. Areas of Expertise: I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a variety of life stressors such as life transitions, relationship issues, spiritual issues, self-esteem issues, financial/occupational stress, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma recovery, and addiction and substance use related concerns. Special Experience: I have experience with clients in many ages and stages of life including working with individuals and facilitating group counseling sessions to address a variety of issues including: developing healthy interpersonal relationships, creating coping skills, setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, communicating effectively, developing social-emotional intelligence, and healing/adjusting from grief and loss. I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and allies. |
