I (Emily Eveland) obtained a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Boise State University as well as a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Idaho (LMSW-41684). I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
I enjoy working with individuals, including children, adolescents, and families. I have experience working with individuals with trauma-related disorders, anxiety, depression, addictions, grief and loss. I have been trained in general social work practices and work from a Trauma-Informed, Client-Centered approach. I also draw heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Humanistic Theory. As each individual and family are unique, treatment approaches are modified to best fit the client needs!
