I received my undergraduate degree from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, in sociology. I originally went to college thinking I would be a teacher but decided, after working and volunteering in many schools, that I would like to help at a deeper, more emotional level.
I received my Master's of Counseling degree from Idaho State University (Meridian campus) in 2012. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-5062) in the state of Idaho.
I am currently an independent contractor with Real Solutions Counseling in Boise (1011 West Williams Street, Suite G). I work with children, adults, couples, substance use disorders - anyone who is willing (or not!). I am also working on obtaining the clinical part of my counseling license so I can move up a tier in my licensing and be an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor). So many acronyms, aren't there?
What you really need to know about me? I am one of those people who loves what she does. I really do. I could work 24 hours a day doing counseling (I'm sure my friends and family would tell you I DO counseling 24 hours a day!). What more can I say? I feel honored to be one of those people who live, eat and breathe her "work".
