I (Brandi Chenoweth) obtained a Bachelor of Science, Health Services Administration from Upper Iowa University (2015) as well as a Master of Education, Clinical Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College (2020). I am a Licensed Counseling Intern (Registration #COUI -8205) in the state of Idaho.
I enjoy working with individuals from different life stages, and have particular interest in trauma, anxiety, LGBTQ+ and women’s issues, underprivileged communities, and grief and loss. I have experience working on an inpatient psychiatric adult unit as well as outpatient individual therapy. I have experience with crisis intervention, neurocognitive disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and more. I have training and experience using Dialectic Behavioral Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also tend to draw from Applied Behavioral Analytics techniques and solution-focused therapy. I believe in the use of therapy to empower individuals to find mental and emotional well-being. I believe we never stop learning so I am always eager to learn new ways to help my clients
